Zamfara NUJ inspects developmental projects executed by Hon. Zubairu

The Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Zamfara State, has embarked on a five-day special tour to inspect the developmental projects executed by member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, Hon, Abdul Malik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu.
The aim of the media tour is to see the positive impact of the projects executed for the constituents by the law maker.
Speaking to newsmen on the projects, the law maker said, executing them became necessary considering the mass votes they gave him during general election which make him to succeed.
He added that, he was impressed by the journalists working in the state as, accirding to him, they are friends and partners in progress who always work on the side of the masses
Speaking earlier, the Acting Secretary of the Chapel, Comrade Ishaq Zaki Tambuwal, informed the law maker that his journalists team deemed it necessary to embark on the inspection tour of Bungudu’s projects adding it was noted how his people have always been proud of those projects.
Some of the projects inspected by the journalists are the Sheikh Abubakar Gummi Jumu’at:at Mosque in Bungudu town and an Islamiyya school.
Briefing newsmen on how the mosque and Islamiyya school were renovated and equipped, the Special Adviser to Honourable Member, Alhaji Jamilu Umar Bungudu, said, “The total number of renovated Jumu’at mosques in Bungudu and Maru Local Governments are 20 in number.”
He said, “Aisha Radiyallu Anha Institute of Qur’anic Memorisation is among the fifteen Islamiyya schools constructed by Abdulmalik Zubairu in his constituency, adding that the one we inspected in Bungudu town was renovated and equipped, and the sum 50 Million naira was spent.
“In Nahuce district, Zannan Bungudu provide solar street lights as part of his contribution to caution the menace of insecurity that affect the area.”
Some of the beneficiaries of the gesture, who spoke to the journalists on working visit to the projects sites, expressed their gratitude to God, who in his infinite mercy brought the law maker who have installed the street light projects for their good.
They said since the street light projects were installed, the security of their areas has improved and so, they called on the honourable member to add more security light to some areas yet to be impacted.
They called on him to as a matter of urgency declare his intention of contesting for governor of Zamfara state come 2027 as, according to them, they are ever ready to support him.
So also, the team of journalists visited Runji village, where the member constructed a befitting hospital and provided them with transformer, which for years was never seen in the area.
Beneficiaries interviewed in Runji village expressed satisfaction with the way thehonourable member had been taking care of their problems and promised to support him in whatever he decided to do with regards to politics.
