Zamfara Hajj Commission to partner NSCDC towards successful 2022 Hajj

The Executive Chairman, Zamfara State Hajj Commission, Hon Lawal Isah Abdullahi, has reiterated resolve of the Commission to partner with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, in 2022 Hajj operations.

This was contained in a press release signed by DSC Ikor Oche DSC, the state CDPRO, copy of which was handed to The DEFENDER in Gusau.

The chairman stated this when leadership of the NSCDC command led by its state Commandant, A A Sparks, paid a visit to the Commission.

Hon. Isah, who eulogised operatives of the over their various operational activities, rated the Corps as an organisation with zeal and hard-working prowess.

Lawal, therefore, seized opportunity of the meeting to pray for repose of the souls of NSCDC operatives, who lost their lives in line of duty in various operations embarked upon by the Corps.

He also saluted the gallantry of operatives in combating insecurity in the state.

He remarked that the efforts of Civil Defence in the fight against crime in Zamfara State is acknowledged in line with the vision of Governor .

He, however, said that the Corps would be involved in all facets of the Hajj operations.

Meanwhile, the state NSCDC boss, Sparks, said he was on familiarization visit to the leadership of Commission.

He, therefore, solicited for an all encompassing collaboration between the Corps and the Commission in Hajj operations, promising his command’s best in the provision of security during, before and after the Hajj operations.
