The Zamfara State Governor-elect Dauda Lawal Dare and his Deputy- elect Mallam- Mani Mallam- Muni, have received their certificate of return from the state Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, in the State capital Gusau.
The commission on Friday, also presented certificate of return to 24 State legislators-elect, comprising of 17 members from PDP platform, and seven from the APC platform.
The Governor- elect while receiving the certificate thank the electorates for their pull commitment, and gave them assurance that thier efforts would not be in vain as his administration will bring about positive changes and place the State on the relevant path of development.
He then urges the people to take advantage of the Holy month of Ramadan to pray for the incoming administration to succeed in bringing about the desired development to the State.
Lawal also thanked the people, the PDP and friends who made it possible for him to win the Governorship polls in the State.
The National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in charge of Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara States, Professor Muhammad Kalla presented the certificate of return to the Governor- elect Dauda Lawal and Deputy Mallam- Mani Mallam- Muni.
While the Resident Electoral Commissioner For Zamfara State, Babura Ahmed presented the certificate of return to the 24 members- elect.
