Zamfara APC screens 105 of 114 State assembly aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee chaired by Ishaq Bala has screen 105 of the 114 aspirants that purchased expression of interest and nomination forms to vie for seats in the 24-member Zamfara State House of Assembly during the coming 2027 general elections.
The party’s State Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Muhammad DanMadami, announced this while providing update on the outcome of the screening exercise to the press in Gusau on Tuesday May 12, 2026.
He further said those yet to be screened, as at the time of filing this report on Tuesday, had up to 6:00pm same day to show up for their screening.
The Committee would layer announce the outcome of the screening with details of all those qualified to produce some requirements for clearance.
He further called on all APC supporters to remain focused and united for the progress and overall success of the party in the state at the 2027 general elections.
