The Zamfara State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded arrangements for a hitch free revalidation and registration exercise in the state.
This was disclosed by the state’s Caretaker Committee Chairman, Alhaji Lawali Liman, while briefing newsmen on the preparation of the on the at APC state secretariat in Gusau.
He said various training programmes have been arranged from the state level to polling unit levels in ensuring adquate membership sensitisation for the exercise.
This arrangement, the chairman said, was in addition to setting up of various committees to ensure that the revadilation exercise runs smoothly and according plan.
Alhaji Lawali Liman said the APC, as a law abiding political party, would follow all the rules and regulations concerning the exercise.
He further said that based on the recent recorncialation in the party, every member would be carried along to show that APC is one family in Zamfara State.
He appealed to all party members to revalidate their membership and expressed optimism that the exercise would be a huge success.
The DEFENDER reports that former Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji AbdulAziz Yari, was recently picked as Leader of the Party in the state following reconciliation and resolution of rift among factions at the chapter, which gave APC’s fortunes wholly to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 general elections.
