The former Governor of Zamfara State, AbdulAziz Abubakar Yari, has denied the rumour that he is planning to decamp to another party.

He said he was one of the founding fathers of APC not only in Zamfara but at the national level.

Yari disclosed this while sensitising his supporters on the recent political happenings in the state at his resident in Talata Mafara.

He said there was no basis for him to leave APC simply because someone joined APC, adding that Governor Bello Matawalle was heartily welcome to join APC but disagreed with some action taken by the National Caretaker Committee Chairman dissolving the entire party structure in Zamfara State, which he said is against the Constitution of party.

He further said, “they will not support the revadilation of registration of party members because APC in zamfara state has register over 700,000 members in zamfara state.
Yari also rejected the 3 man care taker committee for zamfara APC.”

He appealed to all the supporters to remain law abiding and remain resolute.
