Why those who talk about Islamisation of Nigeria don’t have an understanding of the issues

By UGOJI MAXIMILLIAN

On this current issue called “Islamization” of Nigeria, I think it’s actually more of a political issue than real. In 2014-15, so many politicians from the South East plus so many pastors in Nigeria told us the APC and Buhari would islamize Nigeria.

Open your minds while reading this Post.

I am careful with who influences me.

I don’t just follow or listen to anyone.

It’s not out of pride.

It’s just a way to protect my mind from negative influences.

Honestly sometimes I find it hard to understand why educated people will allow themselves be influenced by people who neither went to school nor understand issues.

Just because they have big accounts and are loud.

Imagine me allowing myself be influenced by Verydarkman or portable just because they’re famous?

What do they understand about the polity and the issues of Nigeria?

Many of these guys actually know nothing about Nigeria.

On this current issue called “Islamization” of Nigeria, I think it’s actually more of a political issue than real .

In 2014-15, so many politicians from the South East plus so many pastors in Nigeria told us the APC and Buhari would islamize Nigeria.

But since then I have quietly observed how those politicians have silently joined the APC and most of those pastors are friends with the APC today.

Buhari just like I wrote yesterday wasn’t pushing Islam.

He was rather giving the Fulani ethnic group advantage.

Not Islam.

He loved the Fulani more than his religion and that showed clearly in his appointments and behavior.

So no one can statistically prove that he tried to islamize Nigeria.

The terrorism in Nigeria doesn’t even have anything to do with religion .

It’s economic and political but laced in religious garbs to deceive many.

Haven’t you seen that they keel both Christians and Muslims?

They kidnap both Christians and Muslims?

Before now, we’ve had more Muslim leaders of this country than Christians.

We had :

Tafawa Balewa, Muritala Muhammad, Shehu Shagari, Buhari , IBB, Abacha, Abdulsalami Abubakar, Musa Yar’Adua, Buhari, Tinubu.

Tell me, if all of these leaders wanted to islamize Nigeria and make it a Muslim country officially, what on earth could have stopped them?

Tell me!

But they never did.

And even now that we have a Muslim-Muslim ticket, everyone thought they were going to islamize Nigeria.

Three years after, you still go to your church and worship on Sunday and no one stops you .

Unfortunately you’re even the one who has vowed not to be a good Christian by not practicing what the Bible teaches and showing up to church.

What I have noticed is that, once every four years this debate shows up.

And after the elections it disappears and everyone continues with our normal lives.

No one can dêceive me with this nonsense because I am enlightened.

This country may have more Muslims than Christians but no one can actually islamize Nigeria.

Most of you who claim and talk about this agenda don’t even go to church and are not even good Christians.

If you were a good Christian, you’ll know that the alternative or the solution to that threat is “Preach the gospel”.

When was the last time you talked about Jesus and the gospel openly?

But the Muslims carry Islam to politics, sports, school, market, etc.

They pray openly in the streets and are dedicated to their religion. An Aboki would shut his shop when it’s time to pray…it doesn’t matter how much you want to give him.

As a Christian, you can’t even shut down your business for one hour during Sunday service.

As a Christian you drop Christianity at home when entering politics, business, career and are ashamed to share the gospel.

REPENT.

Islam is not the problem.

We’re the problem.
