The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, disclosed that it will not go after any Nigerian who does not have corruption case against him or her, dismissing the insinuation of witch-hunting as being peddled around by critics.

This was made known by Acting Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Mallam Ibrahim Mustapha Magu, at an interactive session with anti-corruption stakeholders in Ibadan, Oyo Sate capital on Monday.

Magu, according to a tweet posted on the EFCC’s Twitter handle, said, “”The EFCC will not, and does not engage in witch-hunt. We are indeed, guided first by the fear of God and patriotism to our fatherland and the Rule of Law.”
