US leads world in Coronavirus as deaths hit 22,106

The United States of America still leads Italy as the country with highest number of coronavirus deaths with 22,106 recorded by early Monday, 561,103 confirmed cases and 41,730 recoveries, according to Wikipedia figures.

Worldwide, the death toll is 114,331, and the number of confirmed cases nears 1,854,464 million and 114,331 deaths.

The NBC News, also in its own report, confirmed quoting Johns Hopkins University figures to say that deaths in the USA neared that figure early Monday.

According to NBC, after a fall in daily death tolls, Spain and Italy, two countries hard-hit by the virus, were set to begin easing lockdown measures on Monday.
