♦️Our governors since 1999, beginning from Obong Victor Attah, have done Akwa Ibom so proud. Every governor of Akwa Ibom State is an improvement and an upgrade of his predecessor.

♦️Many people have hailed Obong Godswill Akpabio for his infrastructural development of the State. But I think his greatest achievement for Akwa Ibom, whether by design or divine arrangement, was head-hunting Udom Emmanuel to be his successor.
♦️As far as I am concerned, Governor Udom, a simple, regular and very godly young man, has turned out to be extraordinary in his governance, leadership style and accomplishments for Akwa Ibom State and people. This is in virtually every ramification of governance.
♦️For me, Governor Udom is a clear demonstration of how God can use the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty…so that no flesh should glory in his presence. My confession is that I love and cherish this humble and simple man.
♦️Watching him recently from a fairly close quarter, I can say without mincing words that this King and Priest, is blessed with the heavy presence and guidance of God in virtually all he does as governor. This is a story for another day.
♦️But let me repeat here what I have said a number of times on radio and television interviews. One day, Akwa Ibom people will look back and thank Udom Emmanuel immensely, not just for his landmark and legacy projects and programmes, but above all for head-hunting a man in the caliber of Pastor Umo Eno to be his successor.
♦️For now, let me switch my attention to projects lined up for commissioning today and next week. Below here is the night view of the newly constructed 3.32km Ring Road II Dual Carriageway, linking Aka Road to Abak Road, Uyo, scheduled for commissioning today.
♦️ Governor Udom has truly touched lives and made a world of difference in our beloved Akwa Ibom State. He deserves every honour and love a people can shower on their leader.
♦️May God bless his future the more.
