Uba Sani appoints Madakin Zazzau, Munir Ja’afar, Chairman Kaduna Primary Healthcare Board

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has appointed Alhaji Muhammadu Munir Ja’afar, OFR, mni, Madakin Zazzau, as the new Chairman of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board.
Ja’afar, who expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by the state government, described the appointment as a call to greater service.

He pledged to work with members of the board, health workers, development partners and other stakeholders to strengthen primary healthcare delivery across the state’s 23 local government areas.
“Primary Health Care remains the foundation of a healthy society, and I am committed to working with the Board, health workers, development partners, and our frontline health workers to ensure they have the tools and welfare they deserve, Inshaa Allahu,” he said.
The new chairman also solicited the support and prayers of stakeholders towards achieving the administration’s health objectives.
“I appreciate this trust, and I solicit the support and prayers of all stakeholders as we work together to make ‘Health for All in Kaduna State’ a reality,” he added.
Ja’afar further prayed for divine guidance, wisdom, strength and sincerity in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
The Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board is responsible for coordinating and supervising primary healthcare services, including immunisation, maternal and child health programmes and community health initiatives across the state.
Ja’afar is a traditional title holder and public servant and holds the national honour of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR). He is also an alumnus of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), from where he obtained the “mni” distinction.
