Tinubu, Obasanjo meet in Abeokuta over 2023

Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Wednesday, met with former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.

Tinubu arrived the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) at about 1:10pm and went straight into a closed doors meeting with the former leader.

Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, was accompanied to the meeting by the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, two of his predecessors Chief Segun Osoba, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, former APC Interim Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, and former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu.

Details of the discussion at the meeting were not available as at the time of filing this report.

It was however believed they met over 2023 election.
