President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Sheikh Abdul-Hafeez Aṣhamu Abou, also known as Baba Adinni of Lagos and Chairman of the Executive Council of Lagos Central Mosque.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER, President Tinubu mourned with a heavy heart, extending condolences to Baba’s family, the Muslim community in Lagos, and the Lagos State Government.

President Tinubu hailed the remarkable life of service, duty, and sacrifice led by Baba Adini, highlighting his exceptional contributions to the Muslim Ummah, Lagos State, and beyond.

Baba Adini, who reached the age of 101, served as an exemplary figure, dedicated to moral integrity and selfless service.

In his condolence message, President Tinubu stated, “Baba dedicated his life to the service of the people. He lived a full life guided by the highest and noblest moral codes. He was a fine example for all of us. He will be sorely missed. We should take solace in Baba’s legacy and uphold his values of honesty, dignity, and sacrifice.”

President Tinubu prayed that the Almighty Allah grants Sheikh Abdul Hafeez Abou Nolla the highest station in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
