“Had the WHO done its job to get medical experts into China to objectively assess the situation on the ground and to call out China’s lack of transparency, the outbreak could have been contained at its source with very little death.”
– Donald Trump.

For those saying that maybe Trump saw or knew something about WHO and China, the above comment captures what Trump saw and knew! WHO’s sin against Trump. At least, the sin he admitted publicly.

America is in competition with China, and has many very many secret agents in China. Some could be taxi drivers, could be street cleaners and they all have their ears to the ground.

Trump had his CIA agents in China many of who gave him all the information he needed, many of which the WHO were not even privy to because they were classified info; what did Trump do with these info and intels?

How much did Trump expect WHO and its team to do over a NOVEL virus the whole world were still struggling to understand?

As at December, a lot had already been known about the virus; warnings had been sent out and the alarm bells sounded, please did Trump heed any of the warnings and alarms?

As at February, Trump was still hugging and shaking hands at rallies just to prove to America and the world at large that WHO and the Democrats were making unnecessary noise about “a coronavirus that is nothing more than mere flu, and that will go away soon just like a miracle”.

WHO, while appraising the the Covid-19 pandemic and actions being taken against its spread, heaped praises on some leaders and nations whom it thought rose to the occasion in the fight against the virus, and they reserved, deservedly, encomium for China, whom the world including you and I, celebrated their uncommon ability to build 10,000 bed hospital under two weeks; who also were able to raise their testing ability to 10,000 people in a day, and took all the necessary steps to contain the spread within Wuham. By the way, Nigerian government and its health team received the same commendation.

But at the other end of the stick is Trump, whom the WHO boldly admitted, like the rest of the world too, that more and better handling had been expected from him but he failed.

Trump didn’t take such comparison lightly, and then chooses to accuse WHO of being China-centric.

Which information did Trump need that he couldn’t get?

A leader that is still blaming Obama for not stocking their medical stockpile?

A leader that has blamed everyone else but himself for what is happening in his nation today?

While Trump was mocking Iran and accusing them of not declaring all their confirmed cases, he hadn’t noticed that WHO kept information.

He noticed WHO’s failure only when the organization took a swipe at some leaders for their failure to rise up and stop the spread.

The palliatives from Nigeria to Nigerians

Nigerians and governments at various levels have been dispatching trailer-loads of rice to various place for palliative.

These bags of rice are local rice produced here in Nigeria.

Have Nigerians actually wondered how we are able to have enough food at a periods like this when foods don’t come from any other part of the world?

A nation that was, until 2015, giving waivers to importers to import rice, and other food items.

When you mention Buhari now, some children of perdition who just finished eating Abakaliki Rice and Abia Rice will jump out to insult themselves.
