Death has been announced of former Staff of Learnards Industries Limited, Alhaji Imran Shittu Awosanya.
He was father of Manager Administration, The DEFENDER Newspaper, Hajia Basirat Shittu-Adefaka.
He died in the early hours of Saturday 20 July 2019 at the age of 76.
According to the eldest child of the decease, Hajia Shittu-Adefaka, “My father will be buried after Zuhr prayer (2.00 pm) today Saturday,” the wife of the son of Alhaji Kasumu Adefaka, Galadima of Akure, said.
Earlier, Prince Bashir Adefaka, a Lagos-based Media Practitioner, had posted on his widely patronised Facebook and Whataspp platforns that the father of his wife was dead.
“He was quintessential Father of my wife. We lost him to death this morning. May Allah forgive him,” he said.
In the meantime, sympathisers who thronged both the 31 Oba Amusa Avenue, Ikotun, Lagos residence of the deceased and social media platforms of Prince Bashir Adefaka this morning have been dropping their heartfelt condolences.

Alhaji Imran Shittu Awosanya was surviving by two wives, seven children, grand children and a great grand son.
All prayed that Allah grant him an eternal rest and repose his gentle soul in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
