President of The DEFENDER Newspaper in Nigeria, AIG Mu’azu Idris Hadejia (Rtd), the management and entire editorial team of the nation’s young but fast growing online newspaper have greeted Alhaja Fatima Kareem, who clocked 56 on Wednesday August 8, 2018.

Fatima, a successful broadcasting journalist, is a one time President of the Nigerian Women Journalists (NAWOJ).

She remained a committed, versatile and very highly ethics-guided journalist until she retired from the stage at a director cadre of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) some years back.

The mother of four promising boys, among whom one is already a qualified lawyer abroad, is currently a member of the Nigerians in the Diaspora based in the United State of America (USA).

“Although Fatima has dedicated her day to Allah in prayers, we join her in thanking Him for taking her this long and in happiness. May Allah continue to bless her and all that belongs to her, Amin”. The media organisation prayed for the very highly “amiable” journalism Amazon.
