A writeup by an author named Lauretta Chidinma Onochie, linked to the person of President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aid, Lauretta Onochie, is said to be in nowhere connected to the presidential aide.
The writeup believed to have been posted about Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Dr. Peter Obi, clearly does not reflect the style of the UK based body language expert that has been in Nigeria for as long as her boss has been in power, it was said.
The DEFENDER’s checks revealed that a media report went round Friday as it was circulated on social media titled, “Peter Obi is not fit to become Nigerian President – Lauretta Onochie, Buhari’s SA” but at the footage credited to one Lauretta Chidinma Onochie.
The write up had said: “I have carefully studied the leadership style of Peter Obi right from the time he was the Governor of Anambra State and concluded that he’s not fit enough to rule this country.
“Peter Obi doesn’t have the qualities needed to steer the leadership ship of this country because he’s unprepared and may not know where to begin if elected.
“Apart from becoming State Governor, he doesn’t have any Federal leadership experience,” the statement credited to Lauretta Chidinma Onochie said.
But in a swift reaction, Lauretta Onochie said it was did not come from her.
In a three-paragraph reaction posted on her verifiable Facebook timeline on Saturday, Onochie described the writeup as a childish one that could never have emanated from the strict disciplinarian and facts-conscious presidential firebrand.
“If I choose to write on Peter Obi, it will be more caustic than that. And I will write, to guide some misguided Anioma people who do not know who they are.
“I write facts and take no Prisoners….God bless Nigeria,” she said.
