The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) terrorist group, Nnamdi Kanu, has been arrested.
We learned that he was arrested in London, United Kingdom by Interpol.
Kanu, following his arrest, has reportedly been extradited to Nigeria to trial.
The DEFENDER’s whatsapp messages sent to Spokesmen of the Nigerian Police Force and Department of State Services (DSS) for confirmation were yet returned as at press time.
The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) leadership in response to The DEFENDER’s whatsapp, however, confirmed the report.
“Yes. He is,” the NIA responded to our inquiry, “Is it truly arrested and extradited to Nigeria for trial?”
