Tebite receives peace ambassador award in Benin City

The Executive Director of Projects, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon. Chief Awverosuo Okpako Taleb Tebite, received Niger Delta Peace Ambassadors award in the category of Exemplary Leadership Award for his display outstanding leadership charisma over the years.

The Okpare Olomu born People’s Democratic Party PDP Chieftain who was humbly represented at the fanfare ceremony held at Prestige Hotel and Suites in Benin City, Edo State by his special assistant, Hon Ochuko Bengy Omorere and Miss Ediri Umolo, reaffirmed his commitment in serving humanity.

Speaking briefly after receiving the award, he thanked and commended the organizers of the event for finding him worthy as one of the recipients to be bestowed with such award, emphasized that it was indeed a great honour to him.

“Today, I must say it is one of the remarkable day for me. I see leadership as a call to service and I drive pleasure in carrying out every duty assign to me, not to expect anything but it is part of my hobbies and I love doing it with dedication.

“This award and many more other before now will enhance and encourage me to do more to my people, Deltans and Nigerians. I want to once again thank and commend the leadership and the organizers of this event, I wish to reaffirm my commitment in continuing to render selfless leadership and philanthropical gesture to humanity. Am indeed excited”, he stated.
