Tambuwal visits family of Sokoto District Head killed by bandits

Former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Mutawallen Sokoto, has paid a condolence visit to the family of HRH Alhaji Isah Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of the state, who was killed while in captivity of his abductors, on Tuesday August 20, 2024.
Tambuwal, who had earlier mourned the late king, made his visit to the Sokoto State community known in a post via his X handle on Saturday.
“Earlier today, I was in Sokoto to pay a visit to the family of the late District Head of Gatawa, Alhaji Isah Muhammadu Bawa, to offer my condolences on his untimely passing.
“I admonished them to find solace in the enduring legacy he left behind, market by his dedication, selfless service to humanity, and numerous positive contributions to the community, especially his role in the fight against banditry, kidnappings and insurgency during my administration.
“I prayed to Allah SWT to grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. – AWT,” the former Governor posted.
