*As Oba Oyemonla wishes Makinde successful 2nd tenure

Three prominent traditional rulers in Yoruba speaking South West Nigeria have described Monday’s successful Inauguration of one of their own, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as remarkable.
They are the Atayero of Aramoko Ekiti, Dr. Olusegun Aderemi JP, the Attah and Paramount Ruler of Ayede Kingdom Ekiti State, Oba Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orisagbemi, Abolekefa IV, and the Sabiganna of Iganna Land and permanent Chairman, Iwajowa Local Government Traditional Rulers Council, Oyo State, Oba Saliu Oyemonla Azeez Agunloye IV.
“Tinubu has the interest of the nation at heart. Let’s pray for him and support his government in all ramifications,” Atayero said.
The Attah said, “I wish him well. I pray that Almighty Allah will support him with strength, wisdom and good health to steer the ship of the country to a safe end.”
In his own message, the Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom, Oba Saliu Agunloye IV, while congratulating the newly sworn-in President, Bola Tinubu, and re-elected Governor of Oyo State, Engr Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde on their inaugurations, prayed for their successful tenure, respectively.
In a statement he personally signed, Oba Oyemonla also greeted Nigerians for their resilience thus far.
According to the statement, “I wish to Congratulate well meaning Nigerians on the peaceful transition and to felicitate our newly sworn in President and Commander -in- Chief of Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and re-elected amiable Governor of Oyo state, His Excellency, Engr Abiodun Oluseyi Makinde on their sweet victories. Wishing them resounding successful tenure of office.”
The Royal Majesty described Tinubu as a rare blessing to Southwest and entire Nigeria, sequel to his brilliance, charisma and competence for the benefits of humanity.
He maintained that Tinubu’s attainment of presidency would no doubt bring succour and comfort to all Nigerians regardless of preferential treatment to any class.
The Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom said Tinubu had successfully governed Lagos State with achievements that are obvious to the blind and audible to the deaf, adding that he would make Nigeria proud as he stepped in for good leadership.
In another vein, the monarch described Makinde as an amiable Governor whose style of leadership and administration is excellent and remarkable.
He maintained that he is a Governor who knows where the shoe pinches the people of Oyo State and someone who gives maximum regard to the traditional rulers across the state.
The monarch showed his heartfelt gratitude to him over approval that necessitated the presentation of the beaded crowns to some monarchs in Iwajowa LG and other Local Governments the in Oke Ogun zone.
Oba Oyemonla Azeez prayed for Tinubu, and Makinde and wished them a resounding successful tenure of office as they stepped in to lead in those capacities.
