A diagnostic center that promises to make Sokoto State a new destination of choice for medical tourism in Nigeria is now set to come alive in the core Northern state, as Sokoto State Advanced Medical Diagnostic Centre will be commissioned tomorrow Wednesday 1 December, 2021.
Recall that The DEFENDER, in its special project titled, “The Mutawaliyyah’s giant stride and Four-Point Agenda of Sokoto Governor'”, published last week, had reported that the diagnostic centre that is comprehensive by all standards was receiving finishing touches.
The DEFENDER’s report, which is expected to serialise the brilliant performances that have culminated into the huge achievements of Dr. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as Governor of Sokoto State in the last six years, said:
“It is not yet time to discuss the huge successes that are about to unfold by the governor in the area of health with particular investment in an all-encompassing, comprehensive diagnostic system that will make Sokoto State a medical tourism destination, not only to the rest of Nigeria bit also across the continent of Africa and beyond.”
The commissioning, which will take place at the centre’s location at Fargaru area along Airport road in the state capital at around 11am on the way, will be performed by the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.
While details of the achievements of Governor Tambuwal, who is also former Speaker of the Nigeria’s House of Representatives, will be captured in the ongoing special project being carried out by The DEFENDER Newspaper Nigeria on behalf of its publishers, Defender Media Limited, a peep into what Governor Okowa will commission by the honour of his host governor and Mr. Performer, Tambuwal, at the Farfaru area, along airport road area of the state capital, on Wednesday, will be a complete diagnostic centre with and not limited to equipment as per photographs below:
