Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has sworn-in Malam Lawal Mai Doki, as a Permanent Secretary in the state civil service.

Governor Tambuwal described the new PS as an industrious, hard working and trustworthy civil servant among his peers in the state public service.

He appealed to him to bring to bear his experiences to the new office and indeed service of the state.

According to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Mohammed Bello, and dated November 24, 2022, the governor congratulated Mai Doki for reaching the peak of his career as a public servant and prayed to Allah to guide him and protect him in the discharge of his duties.

Responding, Malam Lawal Mai Doki expressed gratitude to the governor for finding him worthy of the appointment.

He promised to justify the confidence reposed in him and discharge his duty effectively.
