The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has taken over the party’s national secretariat in Wadata House in his capacity as chairman.
This followed the judgement of Appeal Court Port Harcourt which reaffirmed him as chairman of the party.
The secretariat had been shut by the Police since May, last year.
Sheriff had earlier promised to make some sacrifices and urged leaders and members of the party to come together to push PDP to success in activities in years ahead especially in the 2019 elections.
