Senator Kabiru Marafa with supporters formally welcomed to ADC in Zamfara

The Zamfara State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has formally welcomed Kabiru Garba Marafa into the party alongside a large number of his supporters, associates, and political allies.
In a statement issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Abdulkarim Umar Lihidda, the party described Marafa’s defection as a significant development that would strengthen its structure and political influence in the state.
The ADC noted that Marafa, a former senator, brings with him extensive political experience and a strong record of public service, which the party believes will contribute positively to its vision of promoting good governance and democratic values.
The party also welcomed the influx of new members who joined alongside the former lawmaker, describing their decision as a demonstration of confidence in the ADC’s commitment to justice, equity, and people-oriented leadership.
According to the statement, the new alliance is expected to enhance the party’s prospects as a platform for political transformation and sustainable development in Zamfara State and across Nigeria.
