The report reaching The DEFENDER shows that the Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Oguntade Aladelusi, Odundun II, a core Christian, has sustained the spirit of peaceful co-existence in his kingdom with his, yet another, physical presence at Eid Praying Ground, Oda Road, Akure, the Ondo State capital on Friday.

Clad in white flowing agbada with a white turban to match, the Akure monarch was received by the Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Adekunle Yayi Akorede, on his arrival at the Eid praying ground.

This action is done by the former United States-based industrialist turned monarch thereby making the Deji another Nigerian monarch, who has embraced peace and unity project that His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, Sultan of Sokoto and Leader of Nigerian Muslim Community preaches across Nigeria, Africa and the world over. No monarch believes in peace effort like the Deji except that peace and love reign in his kingdom. Reason Akure from state capital to Idanre, Owena, Ilara Mokin, Igbara Oke, Iju, Itaogbolu, Oba-Ile, Ala Igbatoro up to Oda across other parts of his traditional territory is peaceful under the paramount ruler.
