Russia’s Gazprom says it continues gas exports to Europe

Russian energy giant Gazprom said on Tuesday it was continuing to supply gasto Europe via Ukraine in line with requests from European consumers.

The company said requests stood at 108 million cubic metres for March 22, up from 104.7 million cubic metres for March 21.

It will be recalled that in the wake of United States declaration of oil and gas sanctions against Russia, which President Joe Biden said was not immediately involving Europe although many European countries joined immediately, Hungary declined to join saying it cannot live without Russian gas.

Biden particularly pressured China, Turkey and India to join, although his West never considered Turkey, the only Islamic country – a leg to Europe and other to Asia bordering Russia on the Black Sea belt, fit to join European Union and NATO. Trio of China, Turkey and India have explicitly declined to join.

Turkey continuously calls for ceasefire in Ukraine but, like China and India, refuses to join in West’s description of the war as an invasion. Saudi Arabia, despite ties with America, which at the beginning of the military operations did not show face as the major actor, has declared the sales of it’s oil to China without collecting the hitherto conventional Dollar but now to take Chinese Yuan in exchange.

Recently, amidst the Western sanctions, India went and bought 3 million barrels of crude oil from Russia, saying its foreign policy is for the interest of its people, and that it will buy more from there. America pretentiously said India was not involved in the sanctions against Russia but comments by White House about India later showed US was touched by New Delhi behaviour.

The latest is now in the biggest of news that even some European countries still take order of oil and gas from Russia, even at increased demand, a development that shows that even the sanctions imposed by West led America has failed.

On a television discourse watched by this online newspaper in Nigeria, the US journalists were ostensibly saying that the current war in Ukraine is a well planned programme in actualisation of the New World Order declared jointly by Russia and China in a joint statement in Beijing, China’s capital on February 4, 2022.

The lady Journalist among them emphatically noted that the New World Order that means that the world will now no longer be under control of a monopoly America is now effectively activated and has come to stay.

She, however l, feared that what that means is that United States of America’s Dollar will now crash in no distant time.
