Russian Emergencies Ministry deliver new batch of humanitarian aid to Gaza residents

The Russian Emergencies Ministry sent an Il-76 aircraft to deliver a new batch of humanitarian aid weighing about 21 tonnes, in particular medicines and food, to Gaza Strip residents.

According to the ministry, a special flight delivered 21 tons of humanitarian aid to Egypt, and the Russian humanitarian cargo has already been handed over to representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. They will redirect aid to residents of the Gaza Strip.

Last week, Russia delivered 25 tonnes of aid for Gazans. The aid included food, personal care products, clothing, portable stoves and blankets. Another 21 tonnes will be delivered soon, according to the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

“The Russian Emergencies Ministry will deliver another batch of humanitarian aid for the population of the Gaza Strip… The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Il-76 plane left Zhukovsky International Airport for El Arish Airport. The cargo contains emergency lighting installations, generators, medicines and food with a total weight of about 21 tonnes,” the ministry said.
