Diplomats from China, Brazil, Venezuela, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and other countries spoke at the meeting
United Nations, April 7. /TASS/. Representatives of the United States and the United Kingdom did not come to an informal meeting of the UN Security Council on the Arria-formula organized by Russia on Wednesday, a TASS correspondent reported.
The meeting focusing the US biological laboratories was attended by representatives of a number of other Western countries – France, Ireland, Norway, who criticized Russia, although Head of the Russian Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Forces Igor Kirillov, who participated in the meeting in video format, cited data on the operation of such biolaboratories on the territory of Ukraine.
“This is evidence of their real attitude to this problem, the fact that they have something to hide and they do not want to answer the uncomfortable questions posed today,” Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky said at the end of the meeting on the absence of representatives of the United States and the United Kingdom.
Diplomats from China, Brazil, Venezuela, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates and other countries also spoke at the meeting.
Previously, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said that during the special military operation in Ukraine, Russian forces unearthed evidence pointing to an emergency cleanup by the Kiev regime of traces of a military biological program, carried out in Ukraine and bankrolled by the US Defense Department.
According to Konashenkov, staff from these Pentagon-run Ukrainian-based labs revealed the emergency disposal of particularly dangerous pathogens on February 24, namely, the plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases.
