Barely 24 hours after Zamfara State Government exposed Sahara Reporters for taking $1,000 bribe to write and publish falsehood about it and Buhari Media Organisation (BMO) reported a yet-to-be named former President of Nigeria to be plotting to instigate a civil unrest that would force President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or be pushed out of office, Omoyele Sowore, under the guise of his #RevolutionNow protest in Abuja, has been revealed as one of the tools being used to achieve the ‘unpatriotic’ aim of a leader who is said to have so much benefited from a united Nigeria.
Although BMO did not mention any name, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is on the tongues at several quarters to be the person in question.

A media report said Sowore sustained injuries and had been rushed to hospital for medical treatment. One of his lawyers, Inibehe Effiong alleged a female police officer teargassed him at the Unity Fountain in Abuja during a protest Monday morning.
“Omoyele Sowore has just been shot by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. He is being taken to the hospital for treatment.
“The officer fired a teargas cannister directly at his right thigh. Sowore was specifically targeted.”
Sowore, in a terse post on his handle @YeleSowore, said: “Just been shit (to write ‘shot’) by a police officer, ACP Atine at the Unity Fountain in Abuja. #RevolutionNow
“Let the struggle continue even if they take my life! #BuhariMustGo.”
From the report, Sowore, like the days of a tree-climbing senator and I-am-in-pains governor, himself broke the news of how a police officer shot him and the news has been made to go viral by those media who believe him.

In a video watched by The DEFENDER, co-travelers of the allegedly shot Sowore were heard talking about how bullet entered in body and how he was shot at close range with one of them saying “That is what she is. She is like that,” referring to accused officer.
However, some patriotic Nigerians who have reacted to what they described as the second drama script being acted out by Sowore, the first time being when he staged his own arrest in a court room to discredit the Department of State Services (DSS), are asking questions to know what kind of gun shot hit him and there is no enough evidence to prove the claim.
“Omoyole Sowore reportedly shot? Meanwhile, no drop of blood from the ‘wound’. Is this a plot to use the court to be allowed to travel out of the country?” One of them said.
“NIGERIANS should take things easy. We’re not ripe for any civil unrest. We got future,” a source warned as respondent dismissed the the Sowore and his co-actors as “Alawada theatre stage 3” and “Thats Lekki in Abuja”.
Another said: “Don’t forget that BMO raised the alarm about how a former President plots to instigate an uprising to force President Buhari out of office. What happened by Sowore today is part of it,” he called attention of the public to a previous statement.
He continued, “I look forward to seeing something: When a court will permit him to travel abroad for treatment. Then I will be sad with the country.
“This is the second time he is staging a drama.
“Somebody is taking money from external collaborators to destroy his own country and some people on the claim of free press still dignify him. Isiorait!” He said.
Another respondent reacting said: “Can one have kilogram of flesh without blood, how can someone be shot without a drop of blood? We should try as much to weigh our lies before posting it so that we will not lose out respect or making people not to believe what we are saying even when we are reporting the truth.”
Another source said: “Mr. president is becoming too quiet now. Obj won’t take this nonsense.”
Finally a long one: “Let them start it. Who is going to run for who? Oluwo of Iwo has warned them that in situation of war they lose their rights to everything including their wives and children and that they can eat only if helicopter drops food from the sky as there will be no car moving around or food sold anywhere.
“Sowore is like the fool on the ground floor of a double decker ship, digging a hole and still left to dig. When the deed is done and water enters, all on board will perish,” he asked government security forces to be on the look out., adding that: “If Sowore was truly shot at close range and he and his co-idiots are screaming bullets enter this and that places, should he be the one to be saying it by now? He was not even unconscious for a moment.”
