Today, January 7, 2026, marks fifteen years since the passing of a true legend—Prince Samuel Omitayo Adetola Adejuwon.

A nation builder, community developer, and unwavering champion of socio-economic progress, his life and work left an indelible imprint on our people and our land.

Prince Adejuwon was a serial entrepreneur of remarkable vision and impact. He served with distinction as the Akayejo of St. Michael’s Church, Ijare, and as the former Executive Chairman of Idanre/Ifedore Local Government in the old Ondo State.

Across these roles, his leadership was defined not by position, but by purpose—an unrelenting commitment to service and development.

Renowned for his humility, compassion, and deep concern for the welfare of others, he earned the admiration and affection of all who encountered him.

His tireless efforts to uplift the Ijare community and his enduring contributions to the development of Old Idanre/Ifedore Local Government stand as lasting testaments to a life well lived.

Fifteen years on, his legacy continues to inspire new generations. Though he is no longer with us in person, his values, vision, and impact remain firmly woven into the fabric of our community.
