At the moment, the processing of information received from across the country via new moon searchers has begun with pockets of news from parts of the country that the new crescent has been sighted.
Some of the areas received so far are: Demoroji in Isa District Sokoto, Bonny in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Gumel, Gombe, Buji and Dutse in Jigawa State. These are the areas where their leaders particularly the Emirs have confirmed.
