“Atiku will be invited to America,” he said. He clarified that such an invitation had not yet happened, but maintained that it would materialise in the near future.
The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said that leading opposition leader and former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, will soon receive an invitation to the United States as part of political realignments ahead the 2027 general election gather momentum.
Ayodele, in a video circulating on social media on Tuesday, also claimed that President Bola Tinubu’s biggest political challenge ahead of the next presidential contest would not come from the opposition alone, but from within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly from the northern bloc of the party.
“Atiku will be invited to America,” he said. He clarified that such an invitation had not yet happened, but maintained that it would materialise in the near future.
“He has not been invited yet, but you will see that they will invite him,” Ayodele added. The cleric, known for political and prophecies, however, did not state the reason for the invite, suggesting that Atiku might be courted by the US as the preferred presidential candidate for the next election in Nigeria and that once he puts his feet on the ground of United States, Tinubu should know it is over.
Speaking in a prophetic tone, the cleric warned that Tinubu should be wary of what he described as betrayal from APC members in the North, insisting that such internal disloyalty could undermine the President’s chances in 2027.
“People that will kill Tinubu’s victory are APC from the North,” Ayodele said in the viral clip.
According to him, the President may not fully grasp the weight of the warning at the moment, but the signs of internal sabotage, he suggested, would become clearer with time.
“They will betray him. Northerners will betray you, Tinubu,” he declared.
Ayodele went further to suggest that the northern wing of the APC would eventually work against the President’s political calculations, despite currently appearing aligned with him.
“All the whole northerners in APC, they will just… they will just defy your system. Watch it,” he said.
Primate Ayodele added, “You might not take it serious now.”
