The DEFENDER can authoritatively report that the 2022 Appropriation Bill, passed by both chambers of the National Assembly before the Christmas break last week, will be signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.
A Presidency’s source, who hinted us about this did not say when the formal signing event will take place.
However, speaking to Channels Television later, Malam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, confirmed the Friday date that is 31 December, the last day of year 2021, but added that the President will sign the 2022 budget at 10.00 o’clock in the morning.
