Like N-power, over 500,000 Nigerians have benefited from survival funds so far and the VP is even suggesting that a way should be found to increase the number of beneficiaries of Survival funds to 2million.
For PMB, politics stops at the water’s edge. He is focused on the Nigerian masses whether they voted for him or not. The resources of Nigeria should be for them to enjoy, not just for a few elites.
N30,000 is nothing to an elite but to an ordinary Nigerian, it means a lot. PMB rather distribute N30,000 to 100,000 Nigerians monthly than give 100million monthly to 30 Nigerian elites.
An educated elite with networth and network should be creative enough to combine the factors of production to create jobs and wealth not depend on government contracts and hand outs. PMB is focused on those who need help.
No propaganda and lies will move PMB or those of us who share in his vision and support him. He is rebuilding our infrasttructure and redefining social welfare.
Hopefully, APC will put its house in order and win the presidency in 2023 so that the next APC adminisraton will conttinue from where PMB stopped.
Those who want to wrest power from APC in 2023 should focus on articulating better policy alternatives for Nigerians. Lying against PMB and APC or cursing Nigeria didn’t work in 2019; it will not work in 2023.
Insecurity and doing-nothing claim
On September 16, 2020, PMB signed into law the Nigeria Police Bill, 2020 which repealed and replaced the Police Act Cap. P19. Laws of the Federation, 2004 derived from the police act of 1920. Yet PMB is doing nothing.
I have a copy of the act which I downloaded myself yet when we talk about insecurity and what PMB is doing, those who have not seen a copy of the act will say PMB is doing nothing. There are so many lazy and loquacious adults in Nigeria who don’t read and don’t know what’s going on and don’t care to know.
