Plots to remove me motivated by transferred aggression against Kwankwaso, says Gov Yusuf

Yusuf urged the party leaders not to lose hope, and urged them not to exchange bitter words with anyone but to channel their energy to motivating Kano people

Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, says all his political travails, which include his losses at both the Election Petitions Tribunal and most recently at the Court of Appeal, can best be attributed to unnecessary transfer of aggression that, according to him, some politicians have against the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and his “political godfather”, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

“Even if the world says they are not going to give us anything because of his (Kwankwaso) vision, we are not going to turn our back on him and his vision,” Yusuf vowed.

He made the assertion while speaking for the first time since the appellate court affirmed the judgment of the tribunal that sacked him,on Monday at a stakeholders meeting of the Kwankwasiyya Movement in Kano.

He, however, disclosed that, ”We are going to continue working under his (Kwankwaso) guidance and leadership to do the needful, God willing.

“But we must appreciate him and be immensely grateful to him and we have to tell him that we are really proud of him.”

Yusuf then urged the party leaders not to lose hope, and urged them not to exchange bitter words with anyone but to channel their energy to motivating Kano people.

He added that whoever think he has power to victimize fellow human being and decide to cause untold hardship against innocent people ,must realise that no condition is permanent in life and there are days when all created human being must answerable to our deeds

Yusuf also promised continue to with all the people-centred projects he has started, including assisting women and children and the settlement of pensions and gratuity.

The meeting also had in attendance the state deputy governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam, Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Ismail Falgore; federal lawmaker for Kiru/Bebeji constituency, Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, leaders of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Kano State cabinet members and top government officials.
