PHOTO NEWS: Sultan of Sokoto receives new AIG Zone 10 in audience

The newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone 10 in charge of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states, Mr Gyogon Augustine Grimah, paid a courtesy visit on the Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, at his palace, on Wednesday April 9, 2025.
The courtesy visit was aimed at familiarising the new AIG posted recently with the Sultan, who is the most senior traditional ruler in his area of posting and President of Traditional Rulers Council in the entire Northern Nigeria.
Joining the Sultan to receive the new zonal police chief were senior members of his Sultanate Council Sokoto including the Wazirin Sokoto, His Royal Highness Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, Magajin Rafi Sokoto, His Royal Highness Barrister Rilwanu Bello, Galadiman Gari Sokoto, His Royal Highness Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru Galadanci and Sarkin Kilgori and District Head of Kilgori, His Royal Highness Dr. Muhammad Jabbi Kilgori.
Also present were Secretary to the Sultanate Council Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’idu Maccido (Danburan Sokoto), and Director Personnel Management of the Council, Alhaji Ahmed Abdulkadir (Wambai Sokoto), among others.
