PDP poll shows Atiku leads other aspirants with 58%

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is trouncing other aspirants from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in an online poll being conducted by the Rivers State Chapter of the party.

In the poll which opened on Saturday September 29, Atiku as at Sunday 30th September, around 11:33 am, was leading with 58 per cent.

The poll which fielded the question, “Who do you think should be the best candidate to defeat President Buhari of the failed APC in the 2019 presidential election?” featured four of the top contenders.

Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki is trailing on second position with 28 per cent, while former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is third with 15 per cent.

On the fourth position, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is on the fifth position.
