Osolo of Isolo, Oba Adewole, joins other monarchs as FECTRON holds 2022 thanksgiving

Eight days after receiving his Instrument of Appointment and Staff of Office from the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu (SAN), the Osolo of Isolo, Akure South Local Government Area of the state, Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, on Thursday December 22, 2022, joined other traditional rulers at end of the year thanksgiving event of Fellowship of Christian Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (FECTRON).

The annual Thanksgiving of FECTRON is an avenue for traditional rulers across the country to come together to appreciate God, who is “the ruler of rulers” hence, Oba Edward Adewole, who is now effectively a substantive Osolo of Isolo in Akure South, participated.

In his admonition at the event, Pastor John Kolawole of Life Foundation Church, the organiser and coordinating Pastor of the programme, harped on the need for the royal fathers to appreciate God while acknowledging him as the supreme ruler.

The clergyman, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of John Kollyns Ventures, seized opportunity of the event to reiterate the vision of FECTRON which, according to him, is “To have transformed African Communities through traditional rulers”.

The best way to achieve this vision is for every traditional ruler to accept that there is always one ruler that has the unrestricted power over all other rulers of the world and, therefore, he charged the traditional rulers to ensure Godly principles in the administration of their traditional institution.

Earlier, three sessions of Bible reading taken by Oba Joel Oluwafemi, Adeluwoye II, the Asuada of Isuada, Oba Rotimi Obamuagun, the Olumoru of Umoru Kingdom and Oba Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade, the Oloba of Uso Kingdom respectively.

The event was wrapped up with a closing prayer and benediction anchored by Oba A.A Adefehinti, the Alara of Ilara-Mokin, followed by taking of group photographs, Comrade Ayomide Micheal, Special Assistant to Osolo of Isolo on Administration and Media.

Roll call of Christian Traditional Rulers from across Akure South, Owo, Ifedore, Akure North and other Local Government Areas of Ondo State and beyond present at the event included the Osolo of Isolo, Akure South Local Government, Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II; the Alayere of Ayere, Akure South Local Government, Oba Adeniran Aladetoyinbo (younger brother of Deji of Akure); the Alara of Ilara-Mokin, Ifedore Local Government, Oba Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti, Agbekorun II; the Ogbolu of Ita-Ogbolu, Akure North Local Government, Oba Idowu Faborode; the Asuada of Isuada, Owo Local Government, Oba Joel Oluwafemi, Adeluwoye II, the Olujigba of Ijigba, Akure South Local Government, Oba Luyi Rotimi; the Oloba of Uso, Owo Local Government, Oba Ademola Adebiyi Oyinbade; and Olumoru of Umoru Kingdom, Oba Rotimi Obamuagun, among others.
