Where the rebellion has reached as at today (Saturday July 7, 2018) is that, the “R-APC” are now saying that, “We are more interested in rescuing the APC than leaving the party for now”. Then the mission becomes clearer.  The so-called politicians that even the failed, corrupt, unpatriotic PDP claimed “are PDP members who are doing great in APC”, but who in actual sense are the worst thing to ever happen to Nigerian politics, are happy that they want to stay within the APC to help destroy it, for no other reason but for the singular reason of weakening re-election of President Buhari in 2019.  This is after they know quite well that they have lost all arguments including that of non-performance, killer-herdsmen and Islamisation/Northernisation, even of nepotism. Just to divert.  But the APC under Adams Oshiomhole and the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari have shown the strength to crush the so-called enemies within (R-APC) and enemies without (the Obasanjo’s coalition of more than 38 parties all believers in corruption and politics of bitterness, hate and blood).  This is the consolation of Nigerian masses.”

Wonder shall never end, it is said, and so the battles declared against President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in 2019 are getting clearer having metamorphosed through stages of market price artificial hike, general economic sabotage to sponsorship of killings in parts of the country especially in areas known so well can easily trigger a more impacted security crisis like the North Central states of Benue, Kogi, Taraba and Plateau.  Now the battles have snowballed, with more clarity, into the all-front offensive to fight from within and outside the All Progressives Congress (APC) to really weaken the government and then to make it easier for them to take over and return to power.  That is the main intention of the political warlords who fight on one side for their selfish ends against one person, the uncompromisable President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, whose major supporters is Lord Almighty and the masses, particularly the larger population of Nigerian youths.

From Left: Jonathan, Babangida and Obasanjo: All accused of plotting the process of ridding Nigeria of corruption and insecurity.

When a group of people gathered before the post-Boko Haram heat that the nation is witnessing calling themselves the Middle-Belt Liberation or what other names have they not called themselves, led by the likes of Jerry Gana, many had said something was in the offing.  Not too long the crossover night of Deceember 31, 2017/January 1, 2018 killings in Rivers, Benue, and attacks of mosque and charge in Kwara looked like a chosen time to start off the crisis.  The Middle-Belt group had claimed that it was time to liberate themselves.  But was liberating themselves also part of the plots they were involved in with Afenifere, a group that claims to represent the Yoruba Land but in actual sense not by the consent of generality of Yoruba people and some Igbo leaders particularly a terrorist group, IPOB?  The ruth is, the plot was not of the Middle-Belt interest but of the few Mafia, self-acclaimed owners of Nigeria, who want to use some kind of ethnic and religious sentiments to gain support against the popular government in town to enable them get back to power since they know they have no political materials to campaign it in 2019.

Their plan was to either get hold of the leadership of Nigeria in 2019 or they split the country.  And to do this, for those described now as disgruntled elements that have no apparatuses of government at hands, they must cause chaotic situation to justify whatever political maneuvering they do.  They had tried that in a way they had thought would lead to military takeover but they failed woefully.

Unfortunately, all of these non-patriotic Nigerians who usually have devices of religion and ethnicity which they deploy – little from North, South West and South East – are largely dominated by members of the same political party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), that was only three years ago sent out of power by Nigerian masses for their entrenchment of official corruption and insecurity thereby depriving them access to good life in the country.

Obasanjo and Ezekwesili: And suddenly Obi Ezekwesili have been reign storms of hell at Buhari’s government in support of his boss, Obasanjo’s coalition.

Apparently, while the execution of those devices was going on, the major centre of control of these elements, which is the National Assembly under the leadership of Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara, took its own stage fully as they made frantic efforts to either impeach President Muhammadu Buhari after his sudden sickness that these same elements’ hands are clean in how it happened had also failed.  It will recalled how Ekiti State Govenor Ayodele Fayose, Femi Fani-Kayode and even some aides of Bukola Saraki were so sure that President Buhari would not return from his medical trip abroad.  Recall also how the Punch Newspaper joined in the fray using its Editorial power to openly declare Buhari as “brain dead” and so would no longer be capacitated to continue as President.  It was that bad.

And, again, while those political hostilities were going on, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu openly called for military overthrow of the Buhari government over a confusion that later turned out, and which he knew, that Dino Melaye and co of his Saraki-led group of disgruntled politicians caused in Kogi State.  Thank God the military of today Nigeria is more Nigerian than pro-politics.  All the effort to really take Nigeria from the grip of these elements and give back to its rightful owners, Nigerians, would have become history by now.

Then suddenly the cries of frame up cropped up.  And within a short time some kind of funny Senator would organize the gun attack on himself and misinform the Police about it just to make sure that his overpowering tactics of a serving governor of his state became a success.  That also failed.  The same Senator ran to the Senate to cry of “herdsmen” killings, suddenly, in Kogi State in one day killing 24 people.  But the moment Police started arrest the suspected killers who told how the same Senator was the one supplying them money and guns to destabilize the state, all manners of kidnapping, armed robbery, other crimes stopped in that state.  And to now call on this Senator to come and explain his innocence he played all kind of drama until he was finally arrested, jumped out of Police vehicle and the cases are in court today.

No one should lose memory of how Bukola Saraki, Dino Melaye, Atiku Abubakar and Olusegun Obasanjo frequented Ibrahim Babangida’s Minna home in a manner that one person suggested to the Buhari’s government to keep its eyes steadily on the watch as something would crop up from those meetings he described as mischievous.  Since after those meetings, Nigeria, moment after celebrating defeat of Boko Haram, no longer remain the same but, God is great that he has strengthened the power and government power to face those elements shoulder-to-shoulder.

Having failed in all fronts, like it was earlier stated, they resorted “herdsmenism” as if they do not know that there is a whole tribe in Nigeria that is naturally attached to that tradesmanship.  And they say these herdsmen are responsible for the killings that only they knew how they came about.  But they do not have the support of the Lord Almighty and so they have been unable to cover their plots.  The Watch Eyes of the Nigerian security never go to sleep over them.

So, it is easy to know who the sponsors of the killers of Nigeria are but who are blaming it on cooked up “Fulani President supporting Fulani herdsmen to kill Nigerian Christians” and so, at that point, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), whose main role in national issues is to stoke religious controversy picked it up and started even doing it better than the unpatriotic politicians.  Recall CAN became the ones that actually did misrepresentations of many of the killings blinding themselves to killing of over 1,000 Fulani in Taraba but using the media to hype the killing of 75 non-Fulani in Benue and even calling those killed Christians but leaving out the 24 confirmed Christians killed by cultists in Rivers.

Atiku and Obasanjo: When plot against Buhari’s re-election brings two sworn enemies together.

Finally, the main factors of the disgruntled political group who are in the National Assembly have found another suggestion to be workable.  Not to leave the governing party but fight from within the APC while the Olusegun Obasanjo-led Coalition of PDP, nPDP, SDP, ADC, Afenifere, IPOB, Middle-Belters and pockets of some politicians from the core North team up to launch attacks from outside.  That is the meaning of sudden emergence of nPDP within APC which never happened by any of those that are even the real parties that collapsed into formation of APC.  Yet the nPDP who came to APC are clearly the only bloc that has caused problem and setback for the country through their evil designs being perpetrated in the National Assembly.  From day one, two Bills sent to them by Buhari to enable him fight corruption have, up till today, not been opened for reading.  Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, they refused to confirm, all to ensure the anti-corruption war failed.

Today, because President Buhari refused to be stampeded into making wrong decision by the nPDP ultimatum, they have come up with what they call Reformed APC, “R-APC” and found a former political ally of the President, Baba Galadima who never supported Buhari since he won election, as Chairman of the rebellion.  Know also that the rebellion was failing, as new Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole said he would not lose his sleep over them, the Saraki-led “R-APC” senators boasted that “We have capacity to impeach President Buhari”.  That boast came following a so called high court judgment claimed to be ordering the National Assembly to commence impeachment of the President on fictitious allegations.  Some notable Nigerians have however asked them to go ahead if they thing they can.

This is the consolation of Nigerian masses that installed this government and on that strength all lovers of New Nigeria rely. Oshiomhole has declared that there is no faction in APC, and all of us believe it is true.  Already we know of nPDP bloc in APC and how can a darkness we are all witnesses to how it comes now scare us? Impossible!

God bless Nigeria!
