Nnamdi Kanu gets ally as Sunday Igboho declares independence, says Yoruba Land no longer part of Nigeria
*Patriotic Nigerians angry govt watching Igboho, Kanu, Dokubo feel untouchable

The opposion Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member hiding under ethnic sentiment to drag Yoruba race along secessionist line, Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a. Sunday Igboho, has declared that Yoruba Land is no longer part of Nigeria.
By this latest development, Nnamdi Kanu, who said Igbo Land was no longer part of what it called Zoo (Nigeria), appears to have found an ally in felony, The DEFENDER reports.
Declaring ‘Yoruba nation’ independence by “illiterate” Sunday Igboho and over 24 hours Nigerian government and particularly the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alhaji Mohammed Adamu, still allow him to walk free like untouchable in the land is causing anger in some quarters.
Some watchers of event are now beginning to question the rationale behind arrest and non-release till death of Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola for declaring parallel government at Epetedo in 1993, if Sunday Igboho, Nnamdi Kanu and now Asari Dokubo have done worse declarations and police constitutionally charged with enforcement of law still watch them to the detriment of the nation.
This continued watch without action against these elements, according to them, is not only undermining the authority of the President of the country and his government but also emboldening the fake news merchants who say “there is no President in the country’s seat of power”.
According to Sunday Igboho, the South-Western states are no longer a part of Nigeria, saying this and, like Nnamdi Kanu, sending propaganda around to blackmail the military forces and the Department of State Services (DSS) to set Nigerian citizens against them with claims of how either DSS wanted to arrest him or soldiers captured spying on him, and nothing has happened.
He made the declaration during a conference in Ibadan, Oyo State, insisting that it was high time the Yoruba became a sovereign nation.
With the declaration, the political thug now leading several educated Yoruba figures including professors called on tribe”s men who are resident in Hausa/Fulani or Igbo territory, to return home before war breaks out.
He said that all traditional rulers in Yoruba land must support the movement to free the South West from ‘slavery’ or they will not ‘see the light of the next day.’
“Why are we being slaves in our fatherland? Why are we being enslaved in our own land?” He asked.
“As it stands now, we are no longer under Nigeria. If they don’t intervene, it will go beyond control. We have gone beyond the point where we keep quiet; we are no longer scared to voice out.”
The DEFENDER reports that Sunday Igboho was very well at home with Nigeria as a Yoruba man under the 16 years of PDP and largely South West’s Olusegun Obasanjo and South South’s Goodluck Jonathan.
It will be recall PDP is political party he openly boasted to be “bonafide member” of but suddenly, because his party to which he has been groomed as one of Nigeria’s political thugs failed to catch up in 2019, he and some Yoruba professors have tried to destabilise the country with a vue to collapsing the demiratically elected government.
Igboho used fathomed accusation of kidnap, rape and killing of Yoruba people against the Fulani herdsmen in the region, saying they were doing so backed by the Fulani President to take over Nigeria and hand the to his tribe, a propaganda sold by Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and as a result of which many lives and properties have lost, worse than Boko Haram, we gathered.
In the end, all the cited kidnap and killing cases, which Igboho seized to kill many Fulani in parts of Yoruba Land, set their properties on fire and actualized eviction of the Sariki Fulani of Oyo State, Alhaji Salihu AbdulKadir, have turned out to be false and yet he and his “ethnic warrior” continue to lay same claims to justify their secessionist plans.
“We are not safe anywhere, we can’t sleep in peace, we can’t travel in peace, what have we done? Are we slaves? We don’t do wrong by existing, we only chose the wrong leaders and we are saying enough is enough!” Igboho said giving excuses.
He added, “Tincan in Lagos, Apapa, the directors are Fulani men. The two ports we have, the controllers are Fulanis. We don’t want them anymore!
“The borders that Nigerian Government closed, we are opening it all, we are no longer interested in being part of Nigeria!
“All our Kings are solidly behind us, any of them that want to deny it should make a press conference, let’s see.
“Start coming home, it is time! We have suffered enough, let’s not fight among each other, let’s unite for a common cause, it is time to come home. That’s all I have to say,” he said at the conference address people of a region once adjudged to be of most educated people in Nigeria.
