Nigeria’s Coronavirus data climbs to 276, deaths 6, recoveries 44

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 22 new cases of Coronavirus codenamed COVID-19 thus jumping the cases in the country from Tuesday’s 254 to 276 as at Wednesday night.

According to the announcement posted on the Twitter handle of the centre, the new cases are broken down to 15 in Lagos, 4 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), two in Bauchi and one Edo.

“Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.  As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.  Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths.

In summary, “As at 09:00 pm 8th April, there are 276 confirmed cases 44 discharged 6 deaths.”
