With Capitol under attack Wednesday following post-election violent protests staged by supporters of defeated President Donald John Trump, whose Republican candidate clearly lost in the November 5, 2020 presidential poll of world’s democracy champion, pro-Nigeria people, home and abroad who have stood with President Muhammadu Buhari against mischief makers since he came to power on May 29, 2015, are waiting to see who the sacked politicians and their ethnic/religious co-travelers will report to.
The idea, The DEFENDER found out, is that these opposition elements, particularly a political party and religious organisation, who took the lead in efforts to collapse the country before, during and post-2019 presidential election, allegedly backed by foreign influences, derided own only nation in conspiracies suspected to be fully supported by US President Trump to destabilize the Africa’s mist populous country.
The religious body and its agents, backed with some local media (excluding The DEFENDER), tried hard to mislead Nigerians about the state of Coronavirus pandemic and incite citizens, by it, against the government saying the globally directed lockdown of early 2020 in Nigeria was persecution of the Church by what they described as Northern Muslim President in power.

As a result, the mind-spoiling twists and lies poured out by them into the Nigerian public heated up the polity and the confusion materialised to the #ENDSARS protests, under the guise of protesting against atrocities and brutalities of people by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), which President Buhari acceded to without delay and disbanded.
The main intention of the protesters and that of their sponsors were to later expose when, over a week after their five-point demand had been met by government, they refused to leave the streets until the protests went violent with protesters killing soldiers, policemen, innocent citizens and destroying public and private assets in parts of the country mainly South.
Noticeably, politicians both from governing party and the particular religious group have their backings to the acclaimed leader-less protests, which mission had now become a plot to destabilize Nigeria and overthrow the sitting government democratically elected early 2019.
Sad, also we gathered, one of the losers of the election, Omoyele Sowore, and his lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) along with collaborators in legal, media professions and civil societies openly held back the government from deploying security agents to check the carnage they unleashed until the situation got out of hand and attempt by soldiers to use blank bullets shot to stop the violent protests was taken by those professionals as crime of the Nigerian government and Army against “peaceful” protesters after they had killed soldiers, police officers and men and burnt police stations as well as attack prisons and court buildings.

They collaborated with terrorist Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), civil societies, foreign media mainly CNN, BBC and international organisations mainly UN, EU, ostensibly bankrolled by United States, going by the role played by Trump’s administration jumping fast to conclusion over hearsay on so called Lekki Toll Gate “massacre” without bothering to seek facts.
The same local elements in the likes of Falana and some others like former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili, and Aisha Yesufu were so confident about their job of compiling evidences to file genocide charges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the government and the Army. To authenticate the obvious falsehoods, they engaged CNN and failed.
They went ahead to ICC and got a prosecutor there to issue press release that there were enough evidences to try Nigeria for genocides, including lies by the religious association that Buhari government is killing Christians in Nigeria. That also failed as the government stood bravely to them and their ICC collaboration in the face. The Nigerian Army leadership’s unwavering posture was another heat suffered by them when it asked troops not to be demoralised by the claims of the ICC prosecutor.
In the meantime, what looks like payback in big way for America and Trump occurred on Wednesday, when supporters of Republican presidential candidate and outgoing President stormed the Capitol unleashing their venoms in open display of Trump’s exposed undemocratic behaviour.
It will be recalled that America is champion of democracy in the world with failed attempt to democratise the Arab World and Asia where China rules, although not as self based or colonialistic as US. Many in countries where US’ democracy has been successfully operational are now talking. More fanatically followed in Nigeria where some religious bodies and unpatriotic elements who take side from America are loud, they wonder why champion of democracy would have failed doing it and people whose nature is more monarchy before the imposition of democracy would continue to madly promote it on their behalf.
Responding to Wednesday show of shame by US President Donald Trump’s supporters in Capitol, some Nigerians mocked.
“America has been pretending all along, we accept to be called third world nation’s but the new joy now is America is Fourth world,” Gideon Musa posted.
In her tweet, Madam O’ To Ge said: “All of you that supported ENDSARS Protest blindly can now see how USELESS you are? @jack gave you his platform, Bitcoin & Hashtag through @feminist_co to destroy your Country but now using @TwitterSafety to protect the US Capitol (his country). Shame on the SOROSOKE GENERATION.”

Those who organised and supported the evil against Nigeria, which was later found to have been sponsored by Trump government of America to destroy Nigeria, are now asked to pick another country as their own, while leaving here for true Nigerians.
Even the show of shame was condemned at the high level of Democrat Party.

Trump supporters put Capitol under attack Wednesday, breached its building, tearing down four layers of security fencing and attempted to occupy the building — fighting Federal police who were overrun.
“This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Thousands, police can’t stop them,” another Twitter user said.
She said: “The democratic process in America is Long. It’s excruciating. Its painful. Its agonising. Its like pulling teeth. (Tufiakwa.)

She added, “Please watch The American Senate President, Pence preside over a painful and an excruciating part of the process of the American democratic process. Again, Tufiakwa.”
