Nigeria climbs to 232 as NCDC announces 8 new cases of Coronavirus

Details of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria as 9.30pm April 5, 2020.

The confirmed Coronavirus cases in Nigeria, which 224 by 11.15am on Sunday April 5, 2020, climbed to 232 Sunday night.

This increase followed confirmation of eight new cases by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

According to the update posted on the NCDC’s twitter handle, the latest development was confirmed was as at 9.30pm Sunday April 5, 2020.

“Eight new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State.

“As at 09:30 pm 5th April there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.  Thirty-three have been discharged with five deaths.

In summary, the published data stood last night at: “232 confirmed cases, 33 discharged, 5 deaths.”
