New development stage expected in Russian-Armenian cooperation, says Ministry

“We are happy to have an opportunity to discuss quite ambitious cooperation programs at the level of financial ministries,” Timur Maksimov said

A delegation from Russia’s Finance Ministry headed by Deputy Minister Timur Maksimov has visited the Republic of Armenia and estimated the results of programs and projects being implemented within the framework of Russia’s assistance to global development, according to a statement released by the Finance Ministry on Thursday.

Moreover, Maksimov had a meeting with Armenia’s Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan as part of the visit, where the sides discussed the prospects of future credit and financial cooperation, as well as the preliminary results of implementation of the Program for bilateral cooperation between finance ministries in 2020-2022 and cooperation within international financial institutions.

“We are happy to have an opportunity to discuss quite ambitious cooperation programs at the level of financial ministries. Hopefully the meeting and future joint steps will allow reaching even more notable results,” Maksimov was quoted as saying.
