The former Governor of Zamfara State and Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Alhaji AbdulAziz Yari, has pledged to recapture Zamfara State from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023.
He made this pleage during the flag off of the membership revadilation and registration of APC at Malam Isa polling unit Talata Mafara, while revadilating his membership.
He said the APC was determined to make sure it reclaims the state because it has always been APC state since the return of democracy.
Yari expressed confidence that APC would retain power at the Federal and reclaim all the states it lost in the previous elections “because APC is now one family all over the federation based on the recouciliation effort being put in place to settle all the differences among party members across the nation.
He appealed to all party members to eschew bitterness and come out enmass to revalidate and register.
The DEFENDER reports that most of the APC stakeholders have registered and revalidated their membership in their respective polling units.
