The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry investigating the alleged shooting of #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki tollgate by soldiers on October 20, is expected to resume sitting this Saturday.

The panel went on a week break on November 7, following its inability to form quorum.

Two representatives of the youths on the panel had boycotted the last sitting in protest of the freezing of the bank accounts of the #EndSARS promoters by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This made the Chairman of the panel, Justice Doris Okuwobi (Rtd) to adjourn proceedings.

The Nigerian Army had been scheduled to testify before the panel then.

When the panel reconvenes this weekend, four Brigadier Generals and one Lieutenant Colonel, will be expected to testify.

The officers are; the Commander of 81 Military Intelligence Brigade, Victoria Island, Lagos, Brig. Gen. Ahmed Taiwo, Chief of Staff, 81 Division, Nigerian Army, Victoria Island, Lagos, Brig. Gen. Nsikak Edet, Commander, 81 Division Garrison, VI, Brig. Gen. Francis Omata, Commander, 9 Brigade, Ikeja, Brig. Gen. Musa Etsu-Ndagi, and Commanding Officer, 65 Battalion, Bonny Camp, VI, Lt. Col. Salisu Bello.

Already, the officers statements on oath have been submitted to the panel.
