Kolawole Babatunde emerges Ondo APC Chairman

Former APC Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, also secured election as the State Secretary during the congress.
Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, a former member of the House of Representatives and Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been elected as the new chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Babatunde emerged alongside other members of the party’s state executive during the APC State Congress held at the The Dome International Event Centre in Akure. The officials were elected through a consensus arrangement adopted by party stakeholders.
Former APC Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, also secured election as the State Secretary during the congress.
Governor Aiyedatiwa attended the gathering, which party leaders said was organized to strengthen unity within the APC following recent internal disputes in the state chapter.
