Kidnapped Aniocha/Oshimili’s ex-Federal Rep found dead

Former Member of the House of Representatives, representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, Joan Mrakpor, who was recently forcefully kidnapped by gunmen, has been murdered.
According to Our Delta State Correspondent, on Thursday, her lifeless body was found around tge Onitsha end of Niger Bridge where it was believed to have been dumped by her assailants.
A source with knowledge of the development, who asked not to be identified, said her remains were found with heavy bruises, suggesting she was brutalised and tortured before her death.
“She was found dead and fully stripped with severe wounds around 7.30 pm Thursday. I think she was battered to death,” the source told The DEFENDER.
The politician was kidnapped by the gunmen, two days ago, in Asaba the Delta State capital.
