Kano Gov appoints new Provost for College of Health Sciences

The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of Dr. Balarabe Ismail Rogo as the new Provost of Kano College of Health Sciences.

This was announced in a statement issued on Thursday by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa.

The appointment follows the resignation of the former Provost due to critical health issues.

Prior to this new role, Dr. Balarabe Rogo served as the Deputy Provost of the College. He is a certified Community Health Worker and holds an MSc in Microbiology from Bayero University, Kano.

This appointment, based on merit, takes immediate effect.
